Who he is

The MD of a ₹1,500-crore manufacturing company.

He runs 2 factory plants in the UAE, and sells adhesive tapes and sealants across the Gulf and India.

His family has been in manufacturing for 30 years.

Where he started on LinkedIn

His lessons lived in his head. He had no time to write. At the end of January 2026, his account had about 670 followers.

1. The strategy

he was selling 3 things, to 3 different people.

  • His tapes and sealantsto distributors and factory buyers in the Gulf and India.
  • Himselfto the industry: an owner who fixes problems on the floor.
  • His companyto salespeople and managers he wants to hire.

A distributor needs to believe one thing: this company will not let me down. Polish doesn't prove that. Real problems, solved in public, do. So we wrote his hard calls, told straight.

2. The funnel

what we wrote, stage by stage.

Real posts, as published. A supplier name and some specifics were removed. Each one had one job.

The job: Stop buyers scrolling with a line nobody in sales would dare to post.

"Your product is useless."

That was the feedback from our biggest client. They were right.

We promised a 12-month shelf life. Our sealant was drying up in 8.

The market was angry. Our orders dropped to 20% of projections. We were bleeding credibility.

We checked the sealant. It was perfect. We checked the machine. It was perfect.

So I flew to other countries to find what really was the problem. I met a bottle manufacturer who showed me the truth.

Why it works. A harsh quote from a client as the opening line. Then a hunt for the real cause.

build trust

The job: Show buyers how orders really move inside his company, and show salespeople how he runs a team.

I made a mistake with my sales team. I was asking them to be logistics managers. That is a waste of their talent. My top closers were spending hours on the phone with the factory floor. So I made a change to set them free.

Our salespeople are passionate. They want the best for their clients. So they used their direct lines to the production managers.

"Delay his order." "Ship mine first." "I need a huge favour."

It worked for the loudest salespeople. But it ruined the workflow for everyone else.

Why it works. He admits a mistake, then shows the fix. Every operator has seen this mess.

build trust

The job: Teach the market something about switching brands, from a launch that went wrong.

My father has 30 years of experience in manufacturing.

So when we decided to launch a tape brand in the Middle East, I was confident.

We saw the market leader.

We saw their price.

I went back to the lab and developed a clone.

It was the exact same quality.

But we sold it for less.

I expected a quick win.

Instead, I got a lesson in human psychology.

Why it works. A real failure with a lesson any challenger brand can use.

3. The process

Every post came from his own stories and opinions. We did the writing. He approved each draft before it went live.

The results
  • He passed 100K impressions in under 28 days.
  • 226,229 impressions from 29 posts, 8 Jan to 18 Mar 2026.
  • His best post got 48,364 impressions. 3 posts went past 40K.
  • On average, each post reached about 209 times his follower count.
  • His followers went from about 670 to 1,200+.
The lesson

"Boring" industries are not boring when the story is honest. A sealant that dried too early beat any big business advice, and it was read by the exact people who buy sealant.
