Who he is

He co-founded a YouTube channel with 1.6M subscribers, one of India's biggest explainer channels. He leads its content.

He also runs its video-editing school: 4,500+ students enrolled, trained to edit in 3 months.

He has trained 4,000+ editors in 3 years. The school says most students who opted for placement got jobs with some of India's biggest creators.

Where he started on LinkedIn

His audience lived on YouTube. On LinkedIn he posted now and then. In April 2026, his whole month on LinkedIn got 4,501 impressions.

1. The strategy

he was selling 5 things, to 5 different people.

  • His schoolto people who want to become video editors.
  • His editorsto creators and companies who need to hire one.
  • His companyto the editors he wants on his own team.
  • Himselfto brands that want a creator partner.
  • His point of viewto the creator economy: how editing and YouTube really work.

Every one of them needs to believe the same thing first: he is the real deal, and he got there the hard way. So the posts lead with his own story, then show how he thinks.

2. The funnel

what we wrote, stage by stage.

Real posts, as published. Each one had one job.

get discovered

The job: Make strangers care about how he got here. Every future editor starts where he started.

At 17, I pretended to be a guy from the Netherlands so foreign clients would pay me.

It worked. I was making ₹80,000 a month, as a teenager.

The problem was:

→ I was an Indian

→ The internet was openly racist back then

[...]

So I built a fake version of myself:

→ A guy from the Netherlands

→ A thick American accent (you can hear it in my old videos )

→ A different name and a new backstory

Excerpt. We left out one line quoting the slurs he received.

125,349 impressions and 2,958 engagements. Then 5 national news sites covered it.

Why it works. His origin story. Specific, a little uncomfortable, and true.

build trust and convert

The job: Tell editors what he hires for, and tell students the school can teach the rest.

How I hire video editors that scale YT channels to millions of views.

I don't look at their portfolio.

I don't look at their skills.

I look for obsession.

I am in a unique position where I can train anyone to edit in three months.

We have trained 4,000+ editors in the last three years.

So technical skill is not the bottleneck.

The bottleneck is finding someone who can go down a rabbit hole for weeks on end.

Why it works. A clear opinion on hiring, backed by a number only he has. It sells the school and the job in one post.

3. The process

Every post came from his own stories and opinions. We did the writing. He approved each draft before it went live.

The results
  • The Dutch post: 125,349 impressions and 2,958 engagements.
  • Within 9 days, Hindustan Times, India Today, Livemint, News18 and Asianet Newsable wrote stories about it.
  • His hiring post: 88,922 impressions and 1,002 likes.
  • A post about his broken English at 14: 42,466 impressions.
  • His LinkedIn now has close to 24,000 followers.
The lesson

The post that travelled furthest was his most personal story, not his best tip. A true story with a little risk in it gets shared, and then the rest of what you sell gets read.
